성 무너진 곳을 막아설 자를 찾으셨으나 없었음
에스겔 22장 13절-끝
이 땅을 위하여 내가 그들 중에 한 사람을 찾아 나를 막아 그 땅을 멸하지 못하게 담을 쌓고 성 무너진 곳을 막아서라 했더니 찾지 못하였으므로 (에스겔 22:30)
하나님은 이스라엘의 죄악을 보시고 심판을 선언하십니다. 그러나 그들을 위해 중재할 사람을 찾으셨으나 찾지 못하셨습니다.

13네가 불의를 행하여 이익을 얻은 일과 네 가운데에 피 흘린 일로 말미암아 내가 손뼉을 쳤나니
14내가 네게 보응하는 날에 네 마음이 견디겠느냐 네 손이 힘이 있겠느냐 나 여호와가 말하였으니 내가 이루리라
15내가 너를 뭇 나라 가운데에 흩으며 각 나라에 헤치고 너의 더러운 것을 네 가운데에서 멸하리라
16네가 자신 때문에 나라들의 목전에서 수치를 당하리니 내가 여호와인 줄 알리라 하셨다 하라
17여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
18인자야 이스라엘 족속이 내게 찌꺼기가 되었나니 곧 풀무 불 가운데에 있는 놋이나 주석이나 쇠나 납이며 은의 찌꺼기로다
19그러므로 주 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하셨느니라 너희가 다 찌꺼기가 되었은즉 내가 너희를 예루살렘 가운데로 모으고
20사람이 은이나 놋이나 쇠나 납이나 주석이나 모아서 풀무 불 속에 넣고 불을 불어 녹이는 것 같이 내가 노여움과 분으로 너희를 모아 거기에 두고 녹이리라
21내가 너희를 모으고 내 분노의 불을 너희에게 불면 너희가 그 가운데에서 녹되
22은이 풀무 불 가운데에서 녹는 것 같이 너희가 그 가운데에서 녹으리니 나 여호와가 분노를 너희 위에 쏟은 줄을 너희가 알리라
23여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
24인자야 너는 그에게 이르기를 너는 정결함을 얻지 못한 땅이요 진노의 날에 비를 얻지 못한 땅이로다 하라
25그 가운데에서 선지자들의 반역함이 우는 사자가 음식물을 움킴 같았도다 그들이 사람의 영혼을 삼켰으며 재산과 보물을 탈취하며 과부를 그 가운데에 많게 하였으며
26그 제사장들은 내 율법을 범하였으며 나의 성물을 더럽혔으며 거룩함과 속된 것을 구별하지 아니하였으며 부정함과 정한 것을 사람이 구별하게 하지 아니하였으며 그의 눈을 가리어 나의 안식일을 보지 아니하였으므로 내가 그들 가운데에서 더럽힘을 받았느니라
27그 가운데에 그 고관들은 음식물을 삼키는 이리 같아서 불의한 이익을 얻으려고 피를 흘려 영혼을 멸하거늘
28그 선지자들이 그들을 위하여 회를 칠하고 스스로 허탄한 이상을 보며 거짓 복술을 행하며 여호와가 말하지 아니하였어도 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 하였으며
29이 땅 백성은 포악하고 강탈을 일삼고 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 압제하고 나그네를 부당하게 학대하였으므로
30이 땅을 위하여 성을 쌓으며 성 무너진 데를 막아 서서 나로 하여금 멸하지 못하게 할 사람을 내가 그 가운데에서 찾다가 찾지 못하였으므로
31내가 내 분노를 그들 위에 쏟으며 내 진노의 불로 멸하여 그들 행위대로 그들 머리에 보응하였느니라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라

“‘“Behold, therefore I have struck my hand at your dishonest gain which you have made, and at your blood which has been within you.
- 14
Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I will deal with you? I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and will do it.
- 15
I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the countries. I will consume your filthiness out of you.
- 16
You will be profaned in yourself, in the sight of the nations. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”’”

Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
- 18
“Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are brass, tin, iron, and lead in the middle of the furnace. They are the dross of silver.
- 19
Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: ‘Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the middle of Jerusalem.
- 20
As they gather silver, brass, iron, lead, and tin into the middle of the furnace, to blow the fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there, and melt you.
- 21
Yes, I will gather you, and blow on you with the fire of my wrath, and you will be melted in the middle of it.
- 22
As silver is melted in the middle of the furnace, so you will be melted in the middle of it; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my wrath on you.’”

Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
- 24
“Son of man, tell her, ‘You are a land that is not cleansed, nor rained on in the day of indignation.’
- 25
There is a conspiracy of her prophets within it, like a roaring lion ravening the prey. They have devoured souls. They take treasure and precious things. They have made many widows within it.
- 26
Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned my holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from my Sabbaths. So I am profaned among them.

Her princes within it are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.
- 28
Her prophets have plastered for them with whitewash, seeing false visions, and divining lies to them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh,’ when Yahweh has not spoken.
- 29
The people of the land have used oppression and exercised robbery. Yes, they have troubled the poor and needy, and have oppressed the foreigner wrongfully.

“I sought for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.
- 31
Therefore I have poured out my indignation on them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have brought their own way on their heads,” says the Lord Yahweh.
